GET CONNECTED COMMUNITY/WORKPLACE ESL PROGRAMS

sarah, misty  prepIn this intensive English as a Second Language (ESL) Certificate program, students develop language skills for the community and workplace. Morning classes focus on conversation, listening, pronunciation, and grammar, while the afternoon classes focus on reading and writing skills. Students practice their skills, learn about Canada, and develop confidence on regular field trips in the community.

CIC offers a variety of sessions. Start anytime.

Students receive Canada Benchmarked Certificates, Official transcripts, Report Cards, and/or Participation Certificates. Contact us for details.

Students also can choose to take the TOEIC test at the college as a credential to add to their resume.

GET CONNECTED ACADEMIC ESL PROGRAMS

DSCN0187In this Academic English as a Second Language (ESL) Certificate Program, students develop skills to succeed in academic studies at college or university. Discussion, listening/note-taking, pronunciation and grammar skills are the vocus of the morning classes, while academic reading and writing are the focus of the afternoon classes. Students also participate in regular field trips

Students receive Canada Benchmarked Certificates, Official transcripts, report Cards and/or Participation Certificates. Contact us for details. Many of our college students have used their certificates to obtain admission to various colleges in Canada and to further their education and employment in their home countries.

Students also can choose to take the TOEIC or TOEFL test at the college as a credential to add to their resume.

Throughout each semester, students participate in field trips not only to experience local Canadian culture, but also to fulfill the requirements of class assignments. Outings have included the Vancouver Art Gallery, the B.C. Museum of Anthropology, the Vancouver Aquarium, Mallairdville's Heritage House, Burnaby Village, Rocky Point, Whale watching at Steveston and Granville Island.
