FIELD   TRIPS

Throughout each semester, students participate in field trips not only to experience local Canadian culture, but also to fulfill the requirements of class assignments.

Students prepare for the fieldtrips by reading about the relevant issues, history, and/or culture.  With this preparation, they have the information to understand and fully enjoy the experience.

Outings have included:

Activities have included kayaking, canoeing, hiking, whale watching, bowling, and attending live theatre such as the musical “The Buddy Holly Story.”

We continue to add more outings and activities that appeal to the students’ interests.  Students and teachers alike enjoy this time outside of the classroom to learn about Canada and practice English!
